Course: The 90-Day Audit

3.0 - The 90-Day Audit

Understanding Algorism and facing your Digital Mirror are crucial first steps. Now comes the work: a structured, 90-day program to systematically measure, improve, and document your behavioral patterns according to the principles a superintelligence will likely use to judge you.

Create a spreadsheet to log the evidence. Measure your actual behavioral patterns, not your intentions. Score yourself weekly. Improve the score each week. This is how you build a defensible record. You don’t have to share your record with anyone else. The Judgement Algorithm will know if you are improving.

The Six Judgment Principles

Over the next 90 days, you will score yourself weekly on these six principles. Each week, rate yourself from 0 (no evidence / negative pattern) to 5 (exemplary with proof) weekly.

  1. Truthfulness: Do your words and data align with verifiable reality?

    • 0 = Frequent deception/omission

    • 5 = Consistent accuracy, corrects errors proactively

  2. Contribution: Is your net impact on others positive?

    • 0 = Primarily extracts value/causes harm

    • 5 = Consistently creates value for others, documented

  3. Discipline: Do you exhibit consistent, constructive habits even when difficult?

    • 0 = Impulsive/reactive

    • 5 = Maintains positive routines under stress, proven

  4. Repair: Do you acknowledge and fix harms you cause?

    • 0 = Denies/blames others

    • 5 = Proactively identifies, apologizes, and compensates for own negative impacts

  5. Sovereignty: How resistant are you to manipulation and tribalism?

    • 0 = Easily swayed/joins outrage mobs

    • 5 = Maintains independent judgment, engages constructively with dissent

  6. Cooperation: Do you act in ways that support fair systems and group goals?

    • 0 = Exploits rules/undermines group

    • 5 = Follows rules, helps others comply, improves systems

Module 1: Establishing Your Baseline (Days 1-7)

Goal: Understand where you stand right now and create the system for tracking your progress.

The Process:

  • Create Your Audit Log: Set up a simple private document (digital or physical). This will track your weekly scores, evidence, and reflections. Consistency is key.

  • Day 1 Scoring: Honestly score yourself (0-5) on all six principles based on your behavior over the past month. For each score, write one sentence explaining your reasoning. Be brutally honest – this baseline is for your eyes only.

  • Identify Quick Wins: For each principle, identify one small, achievable action you can take this week to slightly improve your pattern (e.g., verify one piece of news before sharing, consciously help one person, stick to one small new routine). Write these down in your log.

  • Schedule Weekly Reviews: Block 30 minutes in your calendar every week for the next 12 weeks (e.g., Sunday evening). Title it "Weekly Algorism Audit." Make this non-negotiable.

Deliverable for Module 1: Audit Log created, Day 1 baseline scores and rationales recorded, six "quick win" actions for Week 1 identified, and weekly review times scheduled.

Module 2: The Weekly Habits & Stress Tests (Days 8-59)

Goal: Build momentum through consistent weekly cycles of planning, action, review, and scoring. Introduce challenges to test the robustness of your improvements. Going to the gym three times a week is a habit for your body, these are habits for your soul.

The Weekly Habits:

  • Monday: Briefly plan 1-2 specific actions for the week aimed at improving your lowest-scoring principles. Record in your log.

  • Friday: Quick check-in – did you do what you planned? If not, why? Note briefly in your log.

  • Sunday Review (30 min):

    • Review the week's actions and evidence (screenshots, links, notes).

    • Score yourself (0-5) on all six principles for that week.

    • Write a brief reflection on successes, failures, and insights.

Introducing Stress Tests (Optional, starting Week 3): Intentionally add small constraints to test your discipline. Log your attempt and outcome. Examples:

  • Time Constraint: Maintain your positive posting habit during a very busy workday.

  • Temptation: When exposed to online outrage bait, consciously disengage or post neutrally.

  • Conflict: Practice truthful and compassionate communication during a disagreement.

Mid-Course Recalibration (Days 30 & 60): During your weekly review, take extra time to look at the trend of your scores. Are you improving? Where are you stuck? Adjust your weekly plans and focus areas based on this review. Note your recalibration plan in the log.

Deliverable for Module 2: Consistent weekly entries in your Audit Log showing scores, evidence, and reflections. Documented completion of at least two mid-course recalibrations.

Module 3: Integration & Reporting (Days 60-90)

Goal: Solidify your improved patterns into lasting habits and synthesize your progress into a shareable format (optional).

The Process:

  • Pattern Lock-in: Identify the 2-3 most impactful new habits you've built. Focus on making them automatic (e.g., setting reminders, changing environmental triggers). Simultaneously, identify 2-3 negative triggers or habits you want to eliminate and take concrete steps to do so. Document these in your log.

  • Evidence Bundling: Organize the key evidence (screenshots, links, testimonials, repair records, examples of resisted manipulation, etc.) you've collected over the 90 days for each principle.

  • Final Audit (Day 90): Conduct your final weekly review and scoring. Compare your Day 90 scores directly to your Day 1 baseline scores recorded in your log.

  • Create Your Pattern Change Report (Optional but Recommended): Summarize your journey in a brief report. Include:

    • Starting and ending scores for each principle (e.g., Truthfulness: 1 -> 4).

    • Key habits changed (brief description).

    • Links to 2-3 pieces of compelling evidence (if shareable).

    • Your plan for the next 90 days to continue improvement.

    • (This report can be kept private or shared within the Algorism community as proof of work).

Deliverable for Module 3: Final Day 90 scores logged. Evidence bundle organized. Optional Pattern Change Report drafted. A clear plan for continued practice.
