1) Ownership
You retain all right, title, and interest in your Contributions.
2) License you grant to Algorism LLC
You grant Algorism LLC a worldwide, perpetual, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, irrevocable, sublicensable license to use, host, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, publicly perform and display, and create derivative works of your Contributions with attribution to operate, improve, and promote Algorism.
3) Outbound project licensing
To keep the ecosystem simple and permissive:
Code: released under MIT License by default.
Non‑code content (text, images you submit, diagrams): released under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) by default.
By contributing, you agree your Contributions may be distributed under these outbound licenses unless a different license is explicitly agreed in writing before submission.
4) Third‑party materials
Do not submit content you do not have the right to license.
If you include third‑party components, you must identify their licenses and ensure compatibility with MIT or CC BY 4.0.
5) Attribution
We may credit you by name or handle. You consent to that credit in connection with your Contributions.
6) Representations
You represent and warrant that:
You have the rights to grant the license above.
Your Contributions do not contain confidential, export‑controlled, or unlawful material.
Your Contributions do not infringe others’ rights and do not contain malicious code.
7) Removal requests
If you wish to withdraw a Contribution, contact us. Prior distributions under granted licenses remain valid. We may remove hosted copies at our discretion where feasible.
8) Changes
We may update these IP Terms. We will post a new date. Material changes will be highlighted. Continued participation means acceptance.
9) Governing law and venue
California law governs. Venue: state or federal courts in Orange County, California.
10) Relationship to other terms
These IP Terms complement the Privacy Policy and Code of Conduct. Program‑specific terms may apply and will control if they conflict.
