1) What we collect
Account & profile: name, email, handle, settings.
Content: posts, comments, uploads, submissions, messages.
Usage & device: pages, interactions, timestamps, IP address, device, cookies.
Transactions: membership tier, payments processed by providers. We do not store full card data.
Communications: emails you send us and metadata.
2) Why we collect it
Provide and secure the site and community.
Run cohorts, applications, and reviews.
Moderate content and enforce rules.
Measure engagement and improve features.
Send essential notices; send optional updates if you opt in.
Comply with law and defend our rights.
3) Sharing
Processors/Service providers: hosting, analytics, email, forms, payments, authentication. Bound by contract to use data only for our instructions.
Legal: to comply with law, protect users, or prevent abuse.
Business transfers: in merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice and continued protections.
List your providers here when finalized (e.g., Squarespace, Google Workspace, Stripe, Form tools, Analytics).
4) Retention
Keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or de‑identify.
Typical examples: server logs ≤ 12 months; moderation records while necessary; legal records per statutory requirements.

Access, correct, delete your data.
Export a copy where feasible.
Opt out of non‑essential emails.
California residents: request disclosure, deletion, and opt‑out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

Not for under 13. Do not submit data for children. We delete upon verified notice.
9) International transfers
If you access from outside the U.S., your data may be processed in the U.S. with appropriate safeguards.
10) Changes
We post updates here with a new date. Material changes will be highlighted. Continued use means you accept the new terms.
11) Governing law and venue
California law governs. Venue: state or federal courts in Orange County, California.
